Your teeth enamel is hard, but you should always brush gently The enamel covering the top of your teeth is the hardest part of your body, and for a good reason. Whenever you chew food, forces of up to 30 kg are exerted on your teeth. That is roughly the weight of four bowling balls. Since the enamel is hard, it may seem logical that it requires hard treatment – vigorous brushing and extreme pressure. But that’s not actually the case. Scrubbing your teeth vigorously with hard bristles will result in a receding gum line. The hard bristles slowly scrape away your gums until they stop protecting the neck of the tooth, which is much more sensitive to pain. When you are choosing a toothbrush, ask yourself: What kind of a ritual would I like to have on a daily basis? A gentle one that leaves me feeling refreshed, or a rough, painful one?
"People still believe that genetics is the cause of everything wrong with their health or teeth. It is not. Of course, genetics plays a role to some extent, but please remember: a clean tooth cannot get sick.” — Ana Stevanović, Head of Professional Education at Curaden Read on:
How to take a morning to a whole new level: 🌞 Wake up at the right time during the sleep cycle. During sleep, the body cycles through different sleep stages. Light sleep starts when we begin to drift in and out of sleep and our body only needs a nudge to wake up. The deepest part of sleep is the hardest to wake up from. This is why waking up during the light sleep stage is important. Fitness trackers or apps like Sleep Cycle or SleepScore will monitor the sleep stages and wake up just at the right time. 🌞 Work out before breakfast. Working out on an empty stomach helps us burn excess fat, instead of just using energy gained during breakfast. Early morning workouts also boost the energy levels for the day, improve blood circulation and help get rid of unwanted kilos. 🌞 A quick round with an interdental brush. 80% of cavities and almost all inflammations in the mouth originate in the space between the teeth. To clean that area, use an interdental brush. The soft bristles of interdental brushes remove dental plaque much more effectively than waxed dental floss. https://gently.curaden.com/how-to-have-a-better-morning-try-adding-these-three-habits/

CURAPROX ABC: X for Xerostomia 🤓 Xerostomia, also known as dry mouth, is nothing else than dryness in the mouth, which may have more than one cause: a change in the composition of saliva, reduced salivary flow, a side effect of medication, mouth-breathing, dehydration, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and several diseases. Sometimes there is no concrete cause, and there may be other reasons such as stress and anxiety.😨 Reduced saliva in your mouth leads to a weakened antibacterial system in the mouth and it can also increase the formation of mouth ulcers. 🙈 Our ENZYCAL line is enriched with enzymes and minerals and therefore perfect to boost the immune system in the mouth, not only for patients suffering from xerostomia or ulcers, but for everyone, for everyday use.👍🏻
CURAPROX ABC: W for Whitening! 💫 What’s the difference between “Whitening” and “Bleaching”? For example, a whitening toothpaste restores the teeth to their natural color by removing stains and debris from their surface, whereas a bleaching treatment can whiten teeth BEYOND their natural color. 🤓 So you could say that whitening is less “invasive” and less aggressive than bleaching. Our enamel-friendly Black Is White Whitening toothpaste line uses activated charcoal as its whitening factor. Charcoal absorbs all those particles that cause discoloration, especially tea, coffee, nicotine, red wine and makes your teeth naturally white again. 🖤 Our [BE YOU.]Whitening toothpastes use a smart Whitening enzymatic system, which makes your teeth naturally sparkle again, whilst being extra gentle to the enamel.✨
We got you govered: Everything you need to fill this year's Easter nests with something very colorful and special! 🐰
CURAPROX ABC: V for Veneers!✨ A veneer is a custom made thin piece of porcelain that is being placed by the dentist permanently with a special bonding adhesive on the visible side of the anterior teeth. 😬 They are being used to cover up broken teeth, tooth discolorations, tooth gaps and crooked teeth, in order to re-create the natural look of your teeth. A lot of people prefer this cosmetic treatment, as the end result is teeth with an aesthetic appearance and a corrected, whiter color.😄 Veneers are an irreversible treatment, so you should think it through thoroughly and gather all the relevant information from your dentist about their cost and care. If you worry about the brightness of your teeth, CURAPROX hast two series of toothpastes, dedicated to whitening, which are gentle to your natural enamel and your Veneers, if you already have them: Black Is White and [BE YOU.]😉
It may be too early for the egg hunt, but it's never too soon to start caring about your overall and dental health! ✌️
CURAPROX ABC - U for ultrasound: Ultrasound refers to sound waves with frequencies above 20,000 Hz, which i.a. are being used by the dentist in order to remove hard plaque.🔈 In contrast, sonic toothbrushes, such as our HYDROSONIC Ortho and HYDROSONIC Black Is White toothbrushes use much lower frequencies, which are perfect for everyday use. 〰️ The vibration generated by the sonic waves is used for effective and gentle cleaning of the teeth, which also makes a sonic toothbrush easier to handle than a rotating electric toothbrush. 🤓 Have you ever tried a sonic toothbrush, or do you prefer to brush your teeth with a regular toothbrush?
Already looking for Easter gifts? What about pairing a beautiful CURAPROX toothbrush with the same colored ceramic toothbrush holder?💕
CURAPROX ABC - S like SLS: SLS is the abbreviation for Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, an active substance used in detergents such as shampoos, shower gels, soaps and toothpastes. 🤓 Many manufacturers refrain from this aggressive, highly foaming active ingredient, as it dries out mucous membranes, has an irritating effect and causes an imbalance of the natural immune system in the mouth. 😧 CURAPROX toothpastes do not contain any SLS and our ENZYCAL Toothpaste can even help to balance the oral flora irritated by SLS-containing products, thus counteracting aphthae more effectively and naturally.😌
Can you estimate how many bristles there are in this picture? 😱 We'll tell you: 27.300 ultra-soft Curen® filaments in the most beautiful colors, at your teeth's service! 🙏
CURAPROX ABC - R for recession: In dentistry, the term recession describes the inflammation-free decline of the gums around a tooth, so that not only the tooth crown but also the tooth neck becomes visible. 😨 One speaks then also of exposed teeth. Recessions can be caused by periodontitis (inflammation of the gums and other supporting tissue around the tooth), but the main cause is wrong and too frequent teeth brushing - usually with hard toothbrushes. 🙈 That's why you will find only soft toothbrushes at CURAPROX - with the CS5460 ultra soft being our absolute bestseller and favorite, worldwide. 😇5.460 ultra-soft bristles, for a dense, soft bristle field that leaves plaque no chance. Have you tried it? 😃
